JOYCE – The Crescent School Board has named Ann Renker as Interim Superintendent while Superintendent David Bingham takes medical leave for upcoming open-heart surgery.
Bingham, whose surgery date has not yet been set, expects to return to work on December 1.
At its regular meeting last night, the Board approved Renker’s appointment to the temporary, part-time post. She will work on campus two days per week and remotely one day per week, with her schedule to be finalized in the coming days. Renker’s first day on campus is planned for Tuesday, August 19.
The Board will formally approve her contract at a special meeting set for Monday, August 18
