SEQUIM – Clallam County PUD has been awarded the Washington State Auditor’s prestigious Stewardship Award for excellence in government accountability and transparency.
State Auditor Pat McCarthy travelled to the PUD headquarters last week to present the award, saying it recognizes the PUD’s strong audit record over the past decade, clear and comprehensive financial statements, and ongoing commitment to openness and accessibility.
PUD leaders said the award reflects the hard work of employees across the district and their commitment to building and maintaining public trust.
