59-year-old Burton “Bill” Brown is in custody after his arrest on August 19 north of Centralia on a warrant related to the Frugals robbery.
On December 5, after closing time, Frugals staff reported they were robbed at gunpoint by two men who had their faces covered. The guns were pointed at the two employees, forcing them into the bathroom. The suspects demanded one of the employees vehicle keys and stole his vehicle to flee the scene.
The other suspect, 36-year-old Anthony Lewis Reynolds was arrested on June 21.
On his arrest on Tuesday, Brown was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm. Brown is a prohibited possessor and was booked into the Lewis County Jail with fresh charges for possession of the firearm. That charge in Lewis County will be in addition to the charges in Clallam County related to the Frugals robbery, which include 2 counts of Robbery, 2 counts of Kidnapping, Theft, Burglary, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
