Clallam County’s Chief Criminal Deputy Graduates from FBI National Academy

PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy has completed one of the most prestigious law enforcement training programs in the country — the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Bundy graduated alongside 252 law enforcement officers representing 49 states, the District of Columbia, 20 countries, six military organizations, and four federal civilian agencies.

The academy is known for its rigorous academic and leadership training. Candidates are carefully selected by the FBI, typically bringing more than two decades of experience to the program. Graduates often return to their agencies to serve in senior leadership roles.

For Bundy, the 10-week training marks a significant milestone in a career dedicated to public service. She now joins a select group of National Academy alumni serving on the North Olympic Peninsula, including Port Angeles Police Detective Sergeant Kori Malone, Police Chief Brian Smith, Deputy Chief Jason Viada, Sequim Police Chief Mike Hill, and Clallam County Sheriff Brian King
