SEQUIM — All season long, the Sequim Wolves soccer team has played tough defense but struggled to score. That changed last night against Bremerton, as the Wolves erupted for a 7-0 victory.
Kiley Winter recorded a hat trick, opening the scoring on a corner kick from Raimey Brewer. At the 17-minute mark, Kaiya Robinson added a goal on a setup from Adalie Eastburn. Just before halftime, Ruby Horgan Moxley made it 3-0 on Brewer’s second assist.
In the second half, Harper Moore scored off a feed from Winter, and four minutes later Horgan Moxley netted her second, again from Winter. Winter then closed out the scoring with two more goals, both assisted by Olive Bridge.
Goalkeeper Lillian Anderson was sharp with six saves to post the shutout. Sequim is now 3-4 in league play and heads to Kingston Tuesday night.

The Wolves’ defense has been strong all season, earning the shutout against Bremerton. Defenders, left to right: Maddy Schroeder, Brooklyn Schmidt, goalkeeper Lillian Anderson, Hailey Wagoner, and Harper Moore.
Port Angeles improved to 5-2 in league with a 3-1 win over Kingston. The Roughriders struck for all three goals in the first half—Teanna Clark, Emma Desjardins, and Lilly Anne Lancaster each finding the net. Desjardins scored her 11th goal of the season just three minutes in on an assist from Pyper Alton. At the 18-minute mark, Clark connected on a header from Becca Manson, and Lancaster capped the scoring off a throw-in assist from Clark. The Riders will host North Mason Tuesday night.
