Winter light hanging event pushed to Saturday, October 25

Port Angeles – Because Saturday’s weather was not conducive to climbing 10-foot ladders on sidewalks, organizers cancelled the festive light-hanging party in downtown Port Angeles, and have rescheduled for this coming Saturday, October 25 from 1–4:00 PM.

And here’s a new bonus; Winter light volunteers will get a free ticket to Fall Crawl, the downtown party that’s taking place right after the work party from 5-8:00 PM.

Celebrate the spooky season at downtown businesses at the Fall Crawl, billed as a fun-fueled evening of drinks, costumes, prizes, and supporting local businesses. The Fall Crawl is for adults 21 and over.

Start your Crawl at the Laurel Street Fountain at 5pm or later to receive your 2-oz tasting mug, Fall Crawl passport, and a map to guide you on your way to shop and sip through Downtown PA.

There’s a $15 cash entry, and costumes are encouraged. Follow the map to visit as many participating businesses as possible. You’ll be enticed by sales, giveaways, dining specials, drinks and more along the way. Be sure to show your mug to collect a passport stamp at each business. Then, return to the fountain by 8pm with your completed passport to receive your ‘I Survived Fall Crawl’ magnet & enter to win the $250 cash prize.

Brought to you by Port Angeles Waterfront District and your downtown Port Angeles merchants. Be sure to drink responsibly.

Your entry helps to support future downtown events.
