Port Angeles – The Community Boating Program (CBP) announced Thursday the hiring of Pearl Young as Youth Sailing Program Director.
The CBP website says Young brings a lifelong connection to sailing, having grown up in youth sailing programs throughout the Puget Sound region, and has extensive experience leading summer camps and high school sailing teams.
A strong advocate for accessibility and inclusion on the water, Young believes sailing is a skill that can be started at any age and enjoyed for a lifetime.
Registration opens on February 1 for all of CBP’s programs, which include teams, camps, adult and women’s programs.
