PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center’s board of commissioners has nominated seven individuals to fill the vacancy left by the sudden death of Commissioner John Nutter.
The nominees for the Position 3 seat are Tara Coffin, Nancy Field, Scott Fitzgerald, Laurie Force, Ann Marie Henninger, Patrick Murphy and Gary Smith. Three of them — Coffin, Force and Henninger — ran unsuccessfully in the November general election.
Board President Phil Giuntoli said the nomination process, though unusual, begins with board nominations before opening the position to the public. All interviews will be held in person and open to the public.
Interested individuals have 15 days to submit a one-page letter of interest and a résumé.
