BREMERTON — Teresa Fox has announced she is running for Congress in Washington’s 6th Congressional District.
Fox, a Bremerton resident, is an occupational safety professional and emergency manager. She says she’s running to give stronger representation to workers and key industries across the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas and the South Sound.
Fox has worked in shipyards, naval facilities and offshore operations. Her background also includes positions with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and Olympic College.
Fox criticized the district’s current representation and says she wants to focus on maritime jobs, timber, military communities and small businesses.
The seat is currently held by Democrat Emily Randall, who was elected in 2024.
