
SEQUIM — In high school baseball action, the Sequim Wolves trailed 3-1 after four innings, then rallied with three runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat Kingston 4-3.
Senior pitcher Zeke Schmadeke earned the win, going six innings with eight strikeouts, allowing three runs on four hits.
Relief pitcher Hunter Tennell picked up the save, striking out the final batter.
At the plate, Schmadeke drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in a run.
Tennell added a single, a walk, and scored once.
Devyn Dearinger finished with a single, a walk, and a run scored.
Conner Oase chipped in with a single and a run scored.
The Wolves travel to Kingston today for a 4:00 first pitch.
