SHINE – Daytime travelers who use the Hood Canal Bridge should plan ahead.
Starting Monday, April 13, Washington State Department of Transportation crews will conduct a series of inspections at the bridge.
The work requires two closures each weekday.
Morning and afternoon bridge closures will happen at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, April 13-17, then again at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, April 20-24.
Each closure will last up to 60 minutes. Every effort will be made to keep closures as short as possible.
There may be additional bridge closures unrelated to inspections. Crews will combine closures for inspections and marine traffic as schedules allow.
