4 new cases reported Tuesday make 15 in 5 days

PORT ANGELES – There are now 24 active COVID-19 cases reported in Clallam County.

Yesterday, four new cases were added. They include a teenaged boy, plus 2 men and a woman, all in their 50’s, none from the same household.

County Health Officer Dr. Allison Berry Unthank reports 2 of the new cases have been traced to 4th of July gatherings.

The county has seen 15 new cases in the last five days.

Since the pandemic began, the county has reported 65 total cases. 41 have now recovered. The county has conducted just over 66-hundred tests with more than 65 hundred of them returning negative.
