PORT ANGELES – A Port Angeles man died after his motorcycle collided with a deer south of Port Angeles.
60-year-old Scott D. Edwards died because of injuries suffered in the crash earlier in the afternoon.
Clallam County Sheriff’s deputies say Edwards was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle that hit a deer just before four yesterday afternoon in the 5000 block of South Old Mill Road. Edwards was taken to Olympic Medical Center in critical condition and died about two hours later.
The deer was found dead near the scene of the accident.
