TACOMA (KONP staff) – A 27-year-old Bremerton man is now charged federally for possessing Molotov cocktails following a traffic stop last December.
DEVAN KLUGE was stopped by Bremerton Police in December because of an outstanding warrant. The Molotov cocktails were found in KLUGE’s trunk after he gave permission for officers to search the vehicle. They found three glass jars containing diesel fuel with cloth wicks.
Molotov cocktails are destructive devices under federal law.
In addition to those destructive devices, law enforcement found brass knuckles, a crowbar, bolt cutters, a sledgehammer, walkie-talkie radios, and white plastic full-face masks.
