PORT ANGELES – Law enforcement have a possible suspect, but no arrests yet after a high-speed chase through Port Angeles yesterday.
It started when Clallam County sheriff’s deputies were called to a burglary at a mobile home park east of Port Angeles about mid-day. That’s when the suspect stole a Jeep and proceeded through Port Angeles.
At times, the chase reached speeds of 90 miles an hour. The chase was eventually called off on Highway 112 near Sands Road west of Port Angeles due to public safety issues.
Sheriff’s Chief Criminal Deputy Brian King says they are working on photo montages with the witnesses to see the suspect can be better publicly identified.
