PORT TOWNSEND – A 37-year-old Port Townsend man was arrested over the weekend, suspected of murdering a man in Quilcene on Saturday.
Jefferson County investigators say Blake Fox is believed to have shot the victim, 62-year-old Robin Richards of Quilcene, and fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival. The victim later died.
Deputies were called shortly after midnight to the report of a male victim with a gunshot wound in Quilcene. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the victim unconscious. A witness advised that Fox was paranoid and under the influence of drugs. He was believed to be armed and had fled in a 2008 Ford F-150.
