PORT ANGELES – Jennifer Burkhardt, Chief Human Resource Officer and General Counsel at Olympic Medical Center, is no longer employed with the hospital.
It’s unclear whether she resigned or was let go at this point, and OMC officials are not commenting, describing it as a confidential personnel matter.
Communications and Public Affairs manager Bobby Beaman would only say that Burkhardt’s last day on the job was October 6, and that she had been with OMC since August of 2013.
Beaman also said it was too soon to say whether OMC would start advertising for Burkhardt’s replacement sometime soon, or if they were planning to hire from within.
Burkhardt had been a frequent source of information and her voice was often heard on KONP, particularly in stories about legal and personnel matters.
