PORT LUDLOW – Travelers who use Beaver Valley Road (State Route 19) at SR 104 in Jefferson County will start using a detour Wednesday, June 5.
Beginning at 6 a.m. next Wednesday, for 21 days, SR 19 will close where it meets SR 104. Travelers who normally use SR 19 will need to detour to Center Road.
Once the intersection reopens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, it will revert to the previous “right turn in, right turn out” condition until late July.
The full closure allows crews to continue work on a new roundabout at the intersection. The closure reduces the overall timeline of the project.
