PORT ANGELES – A fifth-wheel trailer exploded into flames west of Port Angeles.
About 8:30 last night, Port Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene at the Welcome Inn Trailer Park. Crews found the trailer about 50 percent engulfed in flames.
The trailer was unoccupied and abandoned. Crews got the fire out before it spread to other structures nearby.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
