SEQUIM — A Clallam County man was arrested on June 11 after authorities received a tip about him driving a motorcycle with a suspended license. But that tip led to a drug bust
Police identified 39-year-old Richard D. Miller traveling westbound on Highway 101 at milepost 261. He was stopped at a gas station in Carlsborg and arrested for driving with a suspended license in the second degree, a gross misdemeanor.
During the arrest, officers found multiple bags of illicit drugs on Miller. The Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team (OPNET) assisted in the investigation, determining that Miller possessed about 30 grams of cocaine, 48 grams of methamphetamine, and 51 grams of suspected fentanyl. Authorities also found about $690 in cash on him.
Miller was transported to Clallam County Jail and booked on three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and driving with a suspended license in the second degree.
