Port Angeles – The City of Port Angeles has announced some bridge closures as part of the 8th Street Paving Project. residents and commuters should be advised of the following traffic notice.
Work will take place on Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, to reseal the 8th Street Bridges. This will include surface cleaning and the application of a sealant to the bridge decks to extend their service life.
The bridges will close to vehicle traffic starting June 2 at 6:00 a.m. until sometime on June 6, depending on when the sealant has cured. The sidewalks will remain open for pedestrian travel during this time.
