PORT ANGELES — The City of Port Angeles is opening the door to a possible new chapter in how it promotes itself to the world. Officials have released a request for proposals (RFP) for tourism and marketing services in 2026.
The agreement will begin as a one-year contract, with the option for two additional one or one two-year renewals at the city’s discretion. The work is coordinated through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
Currently, the city’s tourism marketing is handled by Dezire Inc., a firm operating under the name LuLish. Based in Redmond, Oregon, LuLish oversees Visit Port Angeles and manages the city’s destination marketing campaigns.
Proposals are expected to emphasize partnerships with Clallam County businesses, the use of local marketing professionals, and transparent budgets that clearly separate administrative costs from media spending. The city also wants to see a strong track record of supporting local events and working with area tourism entities.
The deadline to submit proposals is August 10, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. For more information, including full RFP documents, email ced@cityofpa.us.
