FORKS — The Peninsula Crisis Response Team and multiple law enforcement agencies arrested a robbery suspect in Forks on Wednesday.
The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received a tip on November 5th that 31-year-old Frederick Crawford had returned to a residence in the 200 block of Shuwah Road. Deputies Aaron Earls and Ben Demorest, working with Forks Police and La Push Police officers, surrounded the home and ordered Crawford to come outside.
Crawford complied and was taken into custody without incident. He was later booked into the Clallam County Jail.
The arrest follows an October 30th incident near Lake Pleasant Community Park Loop in Beaver, where deputies had initially contacted Crawford during an investigation into malicious mischief and robbery.
