
PORT ANGELES – UPDATE: PUD GM Sean Worthington told KONP at 1:24pm, “Crews have completed switching and all customers should be restored now with the exception of 2 feeders out of our Deer Park substation. Those repairs will take longer. Will update with ETA once crews have a better idea.”

According to PUD general manager Sean Worthington, crews discovered a tree in the line near Morse Creek with extensive damage to the distribution system. He said crews are are assessing the damage and there’s no estimated time to get power back on.
At last check, the PUD outage map showed about 11-thousand customers without power mostly from just east of Port Angeles to west of Sequim.
