Port Angeles – The Port Angeles School District invites families with incoming kindergarten students to attend their Kindergarten Kickoff event on Wednesday, March 18 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the Port Angeles School District Office.
It’s set up to be an opportunity for families to learn more about starting kindergarten and to connect with district staff. Representatives from several departments will be available to answer questions and provide information about transportation, special services, Title I (one), nursing services, food services, and other programs that support students and families.
Families who complete their kindergarten registration at the event will receive a Class of 2039 T-shirt and a backpack filled with school supplies for their student.
If you plan to complete registration at the event, please bring the following documents:
• Birth certificate
• Two proofs of address
• Immunization certificate
And if you know a family with a child who will be starting kindergarten this fall, please help us spread the word by sharing this information with them.
