SEQUIM — With perfect timing and the 1st day of spring, the Sequim Irrigation Festival has been fully launched. The theme the 131st festival is Let’s go Sequiming.
Prior to the Kick-Off Dinner on March 21st at 7-Cedars in Sequim, was the reveal of the float which has a water theme and features a giant octopus.
Following the reveal was the pirate-themed dinner with many attendees dressed in costume. The evening is a major fundraiser for the organization, and the Sequim Chamber reports it was sold out. Our photo (courtest Brown Maloney) features board members, past royalty, volunteers and the float.
