Mr. Jordan Runtagh and Mr. Alex Heigl – Podcasters – Knowledge Nerds

Too Much Information is a new iHeartRadio podcast that gives you the secret history, behind-the-scenes details and little-known fascinating facts about your favorite movies, music, TV shows and more. The series is brought to you by two trivia titans with too much free time. Jordan Runtagh and Alex Heigl are big-time pop culture nerds and longtime listicle writers who've worked at Rolling Stone, People, Entertainment Weekly, VH1, and Page Six. Now they're let off the leash and ready to dive deep into a different beloved entertainment classic three times a week. Get ready for everything you never knew about 'Rugrats,' 'Hook,' "Dancing Queen," Sonic the Hedgehog, 'Jeopardy,' 'Top Gun,' 'Jagged Little Pill'...The list goes on, and so will these guys. But in a good way. Promise.
Jordan Runtagh has served as a music editor at People, contributing writer for Rolling Stone and EW, and music editor for VH1.com. Over the course of his career he's profiled the surviving Beatles, the Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin, Roger Waters, David Byrne, Pete Townshend, Debbie Harry, Quincy Jones, Brian May, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Taylor and many more. A longtime broadcaster on WNYU, he regularly appears as a music history expert on various radio shows. He lives in Brooklyn, where he plays bass in his band, the World's Greatest Detective, and DJs '60s soul records.
Alex Heigl was an entertainment journalist in New York City for nearly 11 years. During that time, he worked for MSN, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and Page Six at the New York Post, and notched interviews with everyone from musicians like Mountain Goats' John Darnielle and Sonny Rollins to cinematic heavy-hitters Idris Elba and Pam Grier. A musician who plays bass, guitar, keys and sings as well, he's never not been in a band since he was 17.
