Ms. Leah Remini – Emmy Winner – Actress – Game Show Host

bacon-bits

Welcome to a VERY special Bacon Bit.  In today’s episode, I get to talk to one of my childhood heroes.  Those who know me know that I was, and truthfully still am, obsessed with Saved By the Bell.  Well the gorgeous human I got to interview today did a stint on that show when the Bayside High Crew went and worked at a resort.  She played the sassy daughter of the resort owner, and the love interest of one, Zack Morris…which made her my hero.  It was a then up and coming actress we all know and love today, Miss Leah Remini. Fast forward several years when my dad fell in love with her while she portrayed the HILARIOUS Carrie Heffernan on King of Queens.  Side note, dad and I LOVED to watch that show together.  Today she is a two-time Emmy winner for her documentary Scientology, the Aftermath, and is currently the host of Game Show Networks super fun show, People Puzzler.  This interview meant a lot to me today, for a lot of reasons…of which you will find out during the interview.  Here’s my chat with the incredibly talented, Leah Remini.  Daddy, this one’s for you.

Clallam County Master Gardeners talk about racoons, perennials and getting your soil checked. Also, they mentioned this guide:

King County’s Northwest Yard and Garden website has an interactive Native Plant Guide to help you create your own native plant landscape. The site provides sample planting plans with recommended plant lists for different growing conditions (e.g., dry and sunny, moist with part shade). The Native Plant Guide is available at  https://green2.kingcounty.gov/gonative/index.aspx
