rpi_watch_us_live_squares_11-7-2022_the_scramble-2

On February 3rd, 1945 - KONP Radio went on the air for the first time!  76 years later...and we are still honored to be your local news source, onair, online, and ALWAYS FREE!  Thank you to all of our advertisers and partners we have had over these 76 years.  We honor you on this day too!

Amanda's back...but we aren't sure Stan and Todd got the message.  *wink  Join the Scramblers this morning for some useless information that will impress at dinner parties...when we can have them again, and also what the odds are on the Super Bowl this weekend.  Lots of 'great' stuff this morning in the Morning Scramble!

Brought to you each and every weekday by Swains General Store.  Also brought to you today by Franks Auto, and Hartnagel Building Supply and Angeles Millwork and Lumber Company!

Tuesday, February 2 – Curses on that PUNK PHIL!

rpi_watch_us_live_squares_11-7-2022_the_scramble-2

Well, that little rodent saw his shadow...and now we get 6 more weeks of winter.  * shakes fist wildly in air -DAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNGGGGGG YOOOOOOOOOOU!

It's the two cherubs this morning as Stan and Todd go it alone.  Amanda saw HER shadow and went back to bed.

That means there are no rainbows or lollipops in this episode, but there is talk of sports, canceled plans, and movies!  We called Amanda to find out what she thought of the show, but she just screamed into the phone, "How did you get this number?!", so....

Thank you to our show sponsor Swains General Store!  You rock and we adore you!

Monday, February 1 – Or is it Febuary…

rpi_watch_us_live_squares_11-7-2022_the_scramble-2

In today's episode of the Morning Scramble, you'll be asked some hard hitting questions.  Like how many oranges are too many oranges?  How does one spell February?  When is Lent?  Why is there going to be poetry at the Superbowl?  And why does my Spotify keep playing smooth jazz?

We also announce the winners of this weekends Community Awards that the Port Angeles Chamber puts on.  And we were super proud to announce that Swains General Store has won the LEGACY award!  (well duh!  They ARE a legacy!

All this and more on this first day of the second month of the longest continuous year of our lives...on the Morning Scramble.

Friday, January 29 – It’s the last Friday of the Month…

friday-show_1pod

Oh hi!  Welcome to the Friday Show Podcast.  Sorry to see that you have absolutely nothing else to do, are bored, or are trying to fall asleep.  Well, you've come to the right place.  Tuck yourself in for another time filling edition of the Friday Show, with Queen Steph and Stan.

Want to know how to get paid to sleep?  Have you started smoking since the pandemic started?  Do you know the look-up code for zucchini?  (it's 4067 by the way) Do you want to hear the ramblings of Stan?  Then THIS is the podcast for you.

Plus, we get to hear from our FAVORITE, Chef Michael from Kokopellil and Coyote BBQ pub in PA as he lays out some VERY big news to all of you!  All this and a little more on the last Friday Show of the Month!

Friday, January 29 – The Final Friday…

rpi_watch_us_live_squares_11-7-2022_the_scramble-2

A fawn walks into a house...literally!  As Amanda tells the story to Grump One and Grump Two, she also confesses that she has tried to coax the fuzzy field friends into her arms.  We all know that if this story had happened to her...she would have kept the fawn.

Also, Stan talks about President Biden and leaves thinly veiled hints as to his true feelings.  Plus, Todd has the 'scoop' on the most disproportionately popular Super Bowl foods in the states.  Way to be weird Alaska.

All this, and a word from our show sponsor Swains General Store, on the Friday edition of the Morning Scramble.

Thursday, January 28 – **insert Kazoo joke here**

rpi_watch_us_live_squares_11-7-2022_the_scramble-2

Aside from all the Kazoo talk and TERRIBLE puns and riddles Amanda had (don't quit your day job Bacon), the morning scramblers actually had some useful information too.

To sign up for the vaccines in Sequim and Port Angeles, go here, and register. Or you can call in PORT ANGELES - 360-417-2430, and in SEQUIM is 360-681-3447.

Also, the list of Dog Foods that have been recalled are manufactured by Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc, and are listed under Sportmix, Pro Pac, Splash, Nunn and Sportstrail labels.

Wednesday, January 27 – Betty Crocker…we thank thee…

rpi_watch_us_live_squares_11-7-2022_the_scramble-2

Aside from using the word "moist" a lot, there isn't much that Better Crocker has done wrong since 1921.  Especially...since she (yes...I know she ISN'T a real person) brought us the 'do it yourself' Chocolate Cake in a box.  That in an of itself is enough to propel the company into legendary status.  Thank you Betty Crocker!  We thank you on this National Chocolate Cake Day!

Stan, Amanda and Todd are in rare form this morning with topics that span from politics, to sports, to the "Facts of Life".  Even how much it would cost you if you wanted to buy a mint-condish baseball!  Oh, and a random fact about China and Hitler.  (not together...)

All this is brought to you each and every weekday by Swains General Store in Port Angeles.  Also brought to you on a Wednesday by Franks Auto Repair and Park View Villas!
