PORT ANGELES – A big-rig driver was hurt when his truck went into a ditch and flipped west of Joyce last evening.

The accident happened about five pm on Highway 112. The State Patrol says 30-year-old Nathaniel Grant of Neah Bay overcorrected after his truck drifted off the roadway. The semi overturned, rotated and blocked the highway for nearly five hours.

Grant was taken to Forks Hospital and was cited for driving dangerously while districted.
