BLYN – A Port Angeles man is in custody after initiating a high-speed chase on Highway 101 east of Sequim.

27-year-old Justin Radisich was called in by other drivers for erratic driving at about 7:30 Thursday morning, and was initially pursued by State Troopers, but they pulled back for safety reasons.

Radisich later turned onto Highway 104, where deputies successfully deployed spike strips and then a PIT maneuver to stop him.

Once he was stopped, Radisich refused to exit the vehicle and began smoking and eating several pills, believed by deputies to be Fentanyl. They also noticed he had a handgun.

Radisich was eventually removed from the car after deputies broke the window and he was immediately transported to Jefferson Healthcare for possible drug ingestion. Two passengers in the car were released.

Deputies have since learned that the handgun Radisich was stolen out of Tacoma.

Radisich, a previous felon, was booked on multiple charges including Eluding and Possession of a stolen firearm.
