PORT ANGELES — If you have broken, or unused electronics; start gathering them up.
A unique opportunity is coming next month to Port Angeles for you to get rid of those in a way that’s safe for the environment and also to help local charitable causes.
On March 23 from 10am – 2pm bring your unused electronic devices to the Port Angeles Civic Field parking lot to dispose of them responsibly.
Olympic Kiwanis is partnering with SBK Recycling to provide a socially responsible solution for your unwanted electronics. They’ll either be fixed and resold by SBK or disassembled for parts. They’re asking for you to make a monetary donation when you bring your items to the event.
This recycling event is a fundraiser for Olympic Kiwanis, which is dedicated to helping children in our community.
