PORT ANGELES – Nominations are now open for the 2^ND Annual Port Angeles Community Awards, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.

As before, nominations are being taken in six categories. They are: Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Organization of the Year, Young Leader of the Year, and Emerging Business of the Year.

All nominations are due by Friday, November 30, so there isn’t a whole lot of time. Here’s Chamber Director Marc Abshire:

Nominating someone is easy if you can get online. Go to the Chamber’s website at portangeles.org, and right there on the landing page you’ll see the words “Nominate Here”. Click on that and you’re on your way.

The Gala Awards Night is January 26 at Vern Burton Center.
