PORT ANGELES – Lincoln Park BMX and Port Angeles Parks & Recreation announced Wednesday they’ll be hosting the USA BMX 2022 Gold Cup Finals this September 15-18.

It’s a big honor for our local BMX club to host this event, and they have many local qualifiers for the finals. The event is expected to bring about 2,000 racers for three days of racing with an expected attendance of 6,000-7,000 people to Port Angeles.

The Lincoln Park BMX Association was established as a non-profit in 2017. Thanks to the hard work of Track Operator Sean Coleman, volunteers, and local businesses, the Lincoln Park BMX Track has turned into one of the best outdoor tracks in the country.

Lincoln Park BMX also led the charge for the new Pump Track at Erickson Playfield, under construction now and expected to be finished in June.
