camp-fire

Olympic National Park – Due to favorable weather conditions and seasonal changes, Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest are rescinding their temporary fire restrictions.

That means campfires are now allowed in accordance with standard rules and regulations.

Be reminded: Fires should only be built within established rings, grills, and fireplaces.

On ocean beaches, fires may not be kindled closer than 10 feet to the nearest beach logs. Fires may not exceed 3 feet in diameter.

Campers are required by law to stay with their campfire from start to finish and all campfires must be extinguished. And remember, if it’s too hot to touch, it’s too hot to leave.
