HELENA, Mont. (AP) — The FBI is seeking the public’s help to identify two men involved in using information gathered from skimming devices placed on ATMs in the Vancouver, Washington area to make fraudulent withdrawals from ATMs in western Montana.
The FBI says the men placed the skimming devices in early March and used the information to make withdrawals from ATMs at credit unions in Missoula on March 9 and 10. The investigation found skimming thefts had also occurred in March and April in Deer Lodge, Frenchtown, Butte and Ennis.
The agency issued a wanted poster Tuesday.
The FBI is not releasing how much money was taken.
