PORT ANGELES – The William Shore Pool expansion project continues to move closer to breaking ground with yesterday’s selection of a General Contractor.
Neeley Construction, with offices in Sequim and Puyallup, made the final cut in the 13 million dollar project, scheduled to break ground next Spring. Executive Director Steve Burke says the choice of a local contractor makes a big difference:

Approximately ten million dollars worth of bonds to finance the project go on sale Wednesday, and will be combined with $1.5 million in state funding secured by Representatives Mike Chapman and Steve Tharinger.
